Based on production planning data, material properties, configurable storage rules and the status of available transport equipment, the system can generate transport orders and support the selection of suitable storage locations. Its 2D and 3D visualization gives operators a transparent overview, while interfaces to existing production and higher-level systems ensure a consistent flow of information.

Different tracking and identification technologies can be integrated according to the application. These include positioning and load sensors on handling equipment, optical recognition of paint-marked identifiers, and mobile solutions using barcodes, RFID or 2D codes. Contact-free measurement systems can also provide coil dimensions where required.
